I hope everybody had a nice Christmas and is now looking forward to another  
year's Scouting which starts this week Friday 6th January at normal meeting times.

The other Sectional pages will be updated soon the website has been down for a few days and I was hoping to change them before we came back but in the meantime don't forget to look at our calendar page to see what's comming up in 2012

 Many thanks to those who supported our Music Quiz, its just a shame that the support comes from the same people all the time, Leaders, Committe Members, Ex Parents and Friends from outside our Group. Money raised from these events gives your children cheaper and better Scouting all round, and helps to keep costs down, maybe if more people had supported at least one event in 2011 we would not have had to raise subs this year, something to think about when the next event comes up.              

Welcome to 5th Hadleigh Scout Group, please feel free to have a look around our New web site. 5th Hadleigh Scout Group was formed in July 1924 and over it's 87 year history it has had it's ups and downs but since moving to our new home at St Michael's Daws Heath 6 years ago it has grown every year and now has nearly 100 Members, it has all 3 Sections, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Shackleton Explorer Scout Unit is also based at St Michael's, which is a District Unit but works in Partnership with Scout Groups around it, if you are a Member of either 5th Hadleigh or Shackleton you will be able to use a login and password and gain access to the inner parts of the web site such as photo galleries and other information, if you are not a member and would like more information about us please contact us and we will get back to you, alternately why not pay us a visit one Friday at St Michael's Daws Heath.
